Lahore: Pakistan’s most popular fast bowler Naseem Shah expressed disappointment over exclusion from cricket squad for World Cup 2023.
Turning to X, the fast bowler said: “With a heavy heart, I'm sharing that I will not be part of this amazing team that will be representing our beloved country”.
While I'm disappointed, I believe everything is in Allah's hands, Naseem Shah added.
He expressed hope that he will be on the field very soon and thanked all the fans for the prayers.

It is pertinent to note that today Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief selector Inzamam-ul-Haq announced the Pakistan squad for World Cup 2023. He said that Naseem Shah will not be the part of the team due to injury as he has not been declared fit by the medical team as yet. Fast bowler Hassan Ali will be replacing Naseem for World Cup 2023.
