Islamabad: President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Chaudhry Parvez Elahi Friday said that in current situation of the country, all the politicians should get a protective bail before the elections.
According to details, Parvez Elahi speaking informally to journalists on the occasion of his appearance in the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Islamabad, said: “The jail food makes me sick,” adding that earlier he had the facility of doctor, now they see problems in that too.
Talking about the inflation, former chief minister of Punjab stated that today the common man has died due to inflation, while former prime ministers Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif are mainly responsible for the high cost of electricity.
PTI President added: “The system of the country is at a standstill due to non-holding of general elections, and in such situation, all the politicians should take a protective bail before the elections”.
A journalist asked the former Punjab Chief Minister about his release before the elections, to which Parvez Elahi said Allah knows best about his release.
He further stated that he cannt have any word about backdoor talks with PTI chief Imran Khan, adding that he again met his brother Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain.
In response to a question, Parvez Elahi continued that he has also heard about the change in the return date of Nawaz Sharif, he himself has also changed.
