Pakistan anticipates another rain spell as winter approaches
Pakistan is poised to experience another round of rain, which will evaluate winter.
Islamabad: Pakistan has witnessed significant shifts in weather patterns over the past two decades, primarily attributed to climate change.
In this context, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has announced the anticipation of another spell of rain in the country, marking the official onset of the winter season.
Notable shifts in Islamabad's weather have been observed, with a noticeable contrast in day and night temperatures.
Meteorologists suggest that a spell of rain is on the horizon, heralding the customary beginning of winter.
This anticipated spell of rain is expected to be followed by another episode of precipitation, accompanied by a substantial shift in temperatures.
Subsequently, a dry period will ensue, culminating in the advent of the foggy season.
Despite the upcoming rains, the Meteorological Department does not foresee an immediate significant drop in temperatures.
Presently, Islamabad maintains a minimum temperature of 21 degrees Celsius. However, in the days to come, a slight decrease of 2 to 3 degrees is anticipated, ushering in cooler air.
The Meteorological Department predicts that temperatures will remain moderate over the next few days, with a noticeable drop in night temperatures as winter approaches.
