India beat Australia in the first match of the three ODI series to clinch the first position.

New Delhi: India has dethroned Pakistan to secure the number one position in the ICC ODI rankings.
This significant shift comes after India's victory against Australia in the first match of a three-game ODI series.
With this win, the Indian cricket team has clinched the coveted top spot in the ODI rankings, relegating Pakistan, who previously held the position by a slim margin, to second place.
In the updated rankings, the Indian team boasts 116 points, while Pakistan follows closely behind with 115 points.
Australia holds the third position with 111 points.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) took to social media to announce India's remarkable achievement, highlighting that the team now holds the top spot in all three formats of cricket: Test, ODI, and T20.
Notably, just last month, Pakistan's cricket squad achieved a series sweep against Afghanistan, securing the number one position in the ODI rankings.
However, India's recent triumph has altered the cricket landscape, making them the new leaders in the ODI format.
