Lahore: Punjab Health Minister, Dr. Yasmin Rashid on Monday said that 189 coronavirus vaccination centers have been established across the province.
While addressing media, Yasmin Rashid said that nationwide vaccination campaign would start from Wednesday as 17 million more jabs will soon arrive in the country.
The Provincial Health Minister stressed that the coronavirus epidemic is not over yet from the country and people need to strictly follow Covid-19 related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to slow down the spread of contagious virus.
According to National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), all necessary measures have been taken to store the vaccine in Islamabad and its further transportation to other parts of the country.
The first batch of 500,000 Covid-19 vaccines have arrived in Pakistan from China by a special plane of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) today.
