Lahore: The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Lahore issued a written decision to grant bail to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activist Sanam Javed and other accused on Tuesday.
According to details, Judge Arshad Javed of ATC issued the decision in which it was stated that Sanam Javed is a social activist, she may have gone to cover the protest, no specific role has been attributed to these accused.
The court decision said that Sanam Javed has been in jail since she was arrested. According to terrorism laws, the challan should be submitted within a certain time which could not happen.
It has been stated by the court that role of Sanam Javed is different from the co-accused. This matter demands further inquiry and court orders to grant bail after arrest.
