The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) stated that the match would be played 'behind closed doors' as advised by local security agencies.
The statement included that large gatherings are expected across the city of Ahmedabad on the day of the PAK-IND match.
The local police assured that all efforts are made to meet the security requirements set by the ICC for the World Cup 2023.
