Search engine 'Google' turns 25
The company has added digits ‘25’ to its doodle to coincide with the Silver Jubilee.
California: The world's most used search engine ‘Google’ is celebrating its 25th birthday today (Wednesday).
Google Doodle, which seems to change on important occasions, today also changed on the occasion of its silver jubilee.
The company has added digits ‘25’ to its doodle to coincide with the Silver Jubilee, which can be seen around the world.
25 years ago in 1998, Larry Page and Sergey Brin started Google out of a garage in suburban California as a university research project.
Today it has offices and data centers in more than 200 cities across six continents.
It is pertinent to note that Google was founded on September 04, 1998, but Google has been celebrating its birthday on September 27 since 2002.
