Karachi: Due to government measures, the US dollar continues to decline, even today (Wednesday) the dollar has become cheaper in Pakistani interbank at the start of business.
According to details, after depreciating by Rs1, the dollar settled at 288.80 rupees in interbank.
The dollar closed at Rs289.80 at the end of interbank trading yesterday (Tuesday).
Positive trend in stock exchange
Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSE) had a negative start to business this morning which later turned positive.
The Pakistan Stock Exchange Hundred Index rose 71 points to settle at 46,349.
At the close of business yesterday, the Hundred Index closed at 46,277 points.
