The public was made notified of the vacation by the SBP in a statement on September 26.


Karachi: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Wednesday announced a public holiday on September 29 on the occasion of Eid Milad-ul-Nabi.
As per SBP issued statement, all banks will remain closed on that day.

According to the announcement, the decision to make September 29 a public holiday was made in conformity with the government's decision to make Eid Milad-ul-Nabi a public holiday.
Eid Milad-ul-Nabi is a Muslim holiday that commemorates the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
