Beijing: Pakistan has clinched the bronze medal in the women's air pistol shooting event at the Asian Games, courtesy of national shooter Kushmala Talat.
Her outstanding performance in the 10m air pistol event earned her this prestigious medal.
Kushmala Talat achieved a score of 218.2 in the competition, showcasing her remarkable shooting skills.
It's worth noting that the first two positions in the event were secured by Indian players.
Meanwhile, golf competitions have also commenced at the Asian Games, with Pakistani players beginning their campaign on the first day.
Salman Jahangir represented Pakistan, finishing in the 47th position with a par score of 72.
Additionally, Qasim Ali concluded the day in the 53rd position with a score of one over par.
