Tokyo: German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier has dissolved the country's parliament.
According to a foreign news agency, German President Frank-Walter dissolved the parliament to hold new general elections after the collapse of Chancellor Olaf Scholz's coalition government.
Foreign media reported that after the dissolution of the parliament, new general elections will be held in Germany on February 23.
In this regard, German President Steinmeier says that in the current circumstances, the country needs a stable government with a majority in parliament.
