Karachi: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) foiled an attempt to smuggle drugs abroad under the guise of vegetables and fruits in a container from Karachi.
According to the spokesperson of ANF, more than three tons of hashish has been recovered from the container booked for Doha.
During the search operation, 125 kg of hashish hidden in a container filled with onions was recovered.
The spokesperson said that onions were booked from Hyderabad to Doha in containers. The recovered hashish was expertly hidden in onion membranes.
It is also stated by the spokesperson of ANF that the container was booked for Qatar by a private company in Karachi.
