PM reiterates govt's resolve to eliminate terrorism
James Cleverly expressed solidarity with families of victims and hoped for speedy recovery of those injured.
Islamabad: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar Saturday reiterated government's firm resolve to wipe out the menace of terrorism.
He stated this during a telephone call received from Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs of United Kingdom James Cleverly.
During the call, the Prime Minster condemned terrorist attacks in Mastung and Hangu and expressed condolence over the loss of innocent lives.
James Cleverly expressed solidarity with families of victims and hoped for speedy recovery of those injured.
The Prime Minister thanked him and United Kingdom for their expression of solidarity and reiterated his government's firm resolve to bring those responsible to justice.
On the other hand, the case of suicide blast in Rabi-ul-Awwal procession in Mastung was registered against unknown assailants in the CTD police station of Quetta.
While the case of explosion in police mosque in Hangu was filed by the Station House Officer (SHO) of Du Aba police station.
It is pertinent to note that 57 people including Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) were martyred and more than 75 were injured as a result of two separate explosions in Mastung area of Balochistan province and Hangu area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
