Petroleum products' prices likely to drop from Oct 1
Petrol price is likely to fall by Rs12 and diesel by Rs10.
Islamabad: There is a possibility of reduction in the prices of petroleum products from October 01.
According to the details, due to the stability of Pakistani rupee against US dollar, the prices of petroleum products may decrease.
Petrol price is likely to fall by Rs12 and diesel by Rs10. The new prices of the petroleum prices will be announced tonight at 12:00am. Currently the petrol is being sold at the rate of Rs331.38 per liter and diesel at the cost of Rs329.18.
After the possible decline in the prices, the new petrol price will be Rs319.38, whereas the diesel will be sold at the rate of 319.18.
During the term of caretaker government, the price of petrol has been escalated by Rs58 and diesel by Rs56.
It is reported that crude oil prices have also decreased in the global market, but the Ministry of Finance will take a final decision on the prices of petroleum products after consulting the Prime Minister.
