This development occurred shortly after Pakistan issued a deadline for the deportation of all foreign nationals residing illegally.

Washington: US Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III recently engaged in a telephone conversation with Pakistan Army Chief General Asim Munir.
This conversation comes shortly after Pakistan announced a deadline for the deportation of all illegal foreigners.
Pentagon Press Secretary Brigadier General Pat Ryder issued a statement confirming the phone call between Defense Secretary Lloyd J. Austin III and Pakistan's Chief of Army Staff, General Asim Munir, which occurred on Tuesday.
During the conversation, General Asim Munir and US Defense Secretary Austin discussed various areas of mutual interest, along with recent regional developments, as stated in the press release.
As of now, there has been no immediate response from the Pakistan Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistani army, regarding the content of the conversation.
It's worth noting that on October 3, significant decisions were made during a meeting of the Maypix Committee, chaired by Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar.
Caretaker Interior Minister Sarfraz Ahmad Bugti announced in a press conference after the meeting that after November 1, illegal foreigners would be deported.
Beyond that date, entry into the country without a visa and passport would be prohibited.
Bugti emphasized the need for illegal residents to promptly sell their properties, as paper documentation would no longer be accepted.
Only e-tazkira and passport entry would be permitted, with anyone entering Pakistan after November 1 requiring a visa.
Furthermore, it's important to note that the digitized e-Taxeera system for Afghan citizens is set to be implemented from October 10 to October 31.
After that period, Afghan nationals will be required to obtain a regular visa to enter Pakistan.
