Ministry of Law has issued NOC for the hearing of cypher case in Adiala Jail while FIA has submitted official secret act challan of cypher case in the court.


Rawalpindi: The hearing of the cypher case under the Official Secrets Act has started against Pakistna Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan in Adiala Jail Rawalpindi on Wednesday.
According to details, the case is being heard by Judge Abul Hasanat Muhammad Zulqarnain. 12 lawyers have been allowed to enter Adiala Jail regarding the hearing.
Barrister Salman Safdar, Sardar Latif Khosa, Raja Yasir, Naeem Haider Panjotha, Barrister Umair Khan Niazi, Chaudhry Khalid Yusuf, Niazullah Khan Niazi, Rai Muhammad Ali, Lal Umar Bodhala, Jawad Asghar, Ali Ijaz Buttar have been allowed to enter Adiala Jail.
It is pertinent to note that the notification to conduct the hearing of the cypher case against Chairman PTI in Adiala Jail was issued.
Federal Government Special Prosecutor Zulfiqar Abbasi has also reached Adiala Jail.
Lawyers of PTI vice-chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi—Barrister Taimur Malik, Ali Bukhari—son Zain Qureshi and daughter Mehr Bano are also present in Adiala Jail.
Ministry of Law has issued NOC for the hearing of cypher case in Adiala Jail while Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has submitted official secret act challan of cypher case in the court.
Copies of the challan will be provided to former Prime Minister Imran Khan and former foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi's lawyers today.
On the other hand, additional police force has been deployed outside Adiala Jail for the hearing.
It is pertinent to note that earlier three hearings of the cypher case have been held in Attock Jail.
