The court ordered the Deputy Attorney General to implement the decision of April 20, 2021.

Karachi: Sindh High Court (SHC) has sought response from the federal government by November 01 in the case of selling sensitive data of Pakistanis on the dark web.
According to details, the case of selling the sensitive data of 11.5 million Pakistanis on the dark web was heard.
During the hearing, the Deputy Attorney General told the court that notices were issued to the provincial government instead of seeking an answer from the federal government.
Petitioner Tariq Mansoor Advocate said that all the institutions have submitted their responses. It is necessary to seek a response from the Secretary IT and Telecommunication.
The court ordered the Deputy Attorney General to implement the decision of April 20, 2021 while seeking a response from the federal government by November 01.
Deputy Attorney General was directed to give arguments at the next hearing and implement the decision in the light of April 20, 2021. If the court orders are not implemented, the Secretary IT and Telecommunication should appear in person.
The petitioner's lawyer said the federal government is continuously delaying the legislation. No national cyber policy has been made yet, there have been four major cyber incidents in Pakistan.
It is pertinent to note that earlier on April 20, 2021, court had ordered all the parties including IT and Telecommunications to submit their responses.
