The court has scheduled a hearing today to provide copies of the challan.


Islamabad: Under the Official Secrets Act, the cypher case against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan and Vice-chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi was heard in Adiala Jail today (Monday) in which court decided to indict the accused on October 17.
According to details, Judge Abul Hasanat Zulqarnain heard the cypher case in Adiala Jail.
Special prosecutor Zulfiqar Naqvi, lawyer Salman Safdar, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) team, investigation officer are also present in the court along with the copy of challan for the proceedings of the cypher case.
Former Federal Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi's daughter and son Zain Qureshi have also reached Adiala Jail for the hearing.
Former Prime Minitser Imran Khan and former foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi were produced in the court room established in Adiala Jail during the hearing today.
Copies of the challan were provided during the court hearing.
During the hearing, Prosecutor Zulfiqar Abbas Naqvi said that he could not give copies of the complete case, however the necessary copies have been provided.
Later FIA Prosecutor Zulfiqar Abbas Naqvi and FIA team left back. Later, Judge Abu Al-Hasanat Zulqarnain also left the Adiala Jail Court.
The court fixed the date of charge-sheeting of Chairman PTI and Shah Mahmood Qureshi which will be on October 17.
Further hearing of case has also been adjourned by the court till October 17 when summoning notices for all government witnesses will also be issued along with the indictment.
It is pertinent to note that a limited number of PTI lawyers have been allowed to enter Adiala Jail to hear the case against Chairman PTI.
