Sonia Hussyn reveals reason for not attending Lux Awards 2023
Many actors expressed their discontent with the awards' distribution, deeming it unfair.

Karachi: Renowned Pakistani actress Sonya Hussyn recently shed light on why she chose not to attend the Lux Awards 2023 ceremony, an event that garnered both industry participation and some criticisms.
The Lux Style Award 2023 took place on October 6 in Karachi, drawing numerous actors and industry figures.
Reports surfaced indicating discontent among several actors regarding the perceived unfair distribution of awards during the ceremony.
Sonya Hussyn was notably absent from the event, and in a private TV program, she clarified her stance on such awards ceremonies.
She expressed her aversion to participating in these events, stating that she doesn't enjoy attending awards ceremonies as she finds them unproductive.
It's worth noting that in 2021, Sonya Hussyn expressed her disappointment when her drama serial 'Sarab' was not nominated for a Lux Style Award.
She emphasized her frustration, particularly given the exceptional quality of the project, which had not received a single nomination at the Lux Style Awards 2021.
