Chairman PCB Zaka Ashraf will also hold meetings with Indian officials.

Lahore: Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Management Committee, Zaka Ashraf, has set off for India after receiving a formal invitation from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
His visit to India encompasses not only witnessing the highly-anticipated India-Pakistan cricket match in Ahmedabad on October 14 but also holding crucial meetings with Indian officials.
Zaka Ashraf initiated his journey from Lahore, making his way to Dubai, from where he will continue his trip to India.
During his stay in India, he is scheduled to convene meetings with representatives from the BCCI and Indian government authorities.
The discussions will revolve around a range of bilateral issues, prominently featuring the potential restoration of cricketing ties between India and Pakistan.
The decision to visit India came after Zaka Ashraf confirmed the issuance of Indian visas, which he shared with the Pakistani media.
Previously, his trip to India had been postponed. Ashraf's mission in India is not only to boost the morale of the Pakistani cricket team but also to convey a message of fearlessness to the players ahead of their much-anticipated match against India.
Cricket enthusiasts on both sides of the border eagerly await this exciting clash.
