Karachi: Pakistani actress Mariyam Nafees has taken a stand against inappropriate propositions she received from individuals seeking her to engage in private meetings.
The actress has shared these message screenshots on her social media accounts, causing outrage and condemnation from social media users.
In the exchanged messages, a person named Alee Sheikh approached Mariyam through WhatsApp, expressing his desire to spend private time with her after seeing her at the Lux Style Awards.
He even offered to pay her for this.
In response, Mariyam Nafees vehemently rebuked the individual, asserting that not every woman can be bought and that actresses are not prostitutes.
She also expressed her intention to expose such accounts that make inappropriate demands.
Furthermore, Mariyam Nafees shared a screenshot of another Instagram account, which purported to be a Pakistani magazine, offering her a bold photoshoot in Dubai.
The actress highlighted that such propositions are prevalent in the industry.
