Sirajul Haq, underlines the responsibility of the Muslim Ummah, to stand alongside their Palestinian brethren who are engaged in a struggle against Israeli forces.

Karachi: Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Amer Sirajul Haq emphasized the need for solidarity within the Muslim world to support the Palestinian cause.
Speaking at a public gathering, JI's Chief, Sirajul Haq, underlined the responsibility of the Muslim Ummah to stand alongside their Palestinian brethren who are engaged in a struggle against Israeli forces.
Sirajul Haq drew a parallel to the Afghan resistance, suggesting that Israel would meet a similar fate as Afghanistan did when it defeated the Soviet Union, NATO, and American forces.
He commended Saudi Arabia for its stance on the Gaza conflict, noting that they halted talks related to normalization following the killing of innocent Palestinians.
The ongoing aerial offensive by Israel in Gaza has resulted in over 2,200 Palestinian casualties, while Israel has reported 1,300 losses due to attacks by Hamas.
On a global stage, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres expressed the impossibility of Gazan civilians complying with evacuation orders without catastrophic humanitarian consequences. He called for unity in protecting civilians and seeking a lasting solution to the cycle of death and destruction.
Despite the challenges, a plane carrying critical medical supplies from the World Health Organization's logistics hub in Dubai arrived in Egypt, with the aim of aiding Gaza's civilians as soon as border access is established. The shipment includes trauma medications, essential healthcare items, and equipment to treat around 1,200 individuals injured during the bombings, as well as 1,500 chronically ill patients. Furthermore, it contains basic health supplies to meet the needs of 300,000 others, including pregnant women. Given the dire state of Gaza's hospitals, these supplies are a lifeline for the wounded in search of shelter.
