The raid, prompted by actionable intelligence, has also resulted in the confiscation of a substantial cache of weapons and explosives.

Rawalpindi: A significant operation led to the elimination of a high-ranking member of the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) along with his associate, as confirmed by security officials on Sunday.
The raid, prompted by actionable intelligence, also resulted in the confiscation of a substantial cache of weapons and explosives.
The deceased BLA operative was identified as Saddam Hussain, and his associate was known as Maqsood. According to officials, Saddam had been affiliated with the BLA since 2008, engaging in no less than 93 acts of terrorism across various regions in southern Balochistan.
Saddam Hussain had outstanding warrants in connection with a case involving an attack on the Frontier Constabulary headquarters in Balochistan, which occurred in September of the current year. He primarily focused his terrorist activities in the Kech district of Balochistan and was known for recruiting disenchanted youth into the BLA. His role was within the BLA's Abdul Majeed Brigade.
Saddam received training in the use of both light and heavy weaponry, as well as the planting of explosive devices, at a BLA training facility located in the Mashke area of Balochistan.
In 2017, Saddam Hussain assumed the position of BLA commander at a covert training camp situated in the Kech district. Four years later, in 2021, he ascended to the role of local commander within the organization.
Security officials disclosed that the terrorist was responsible for orchestrating several clandestine cells in the Kech district of Balochistan. His name had been on the wanted list of security agencies for his involvement in multiple terrorism-related incidents in Gwadar and Turbat.
