Rawalpindi: The cell of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan jailed in Adiala Jail has been extended, GNN reported.
According to the sources, following the orders of Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain, the Jail Superintendent widened the cell of Chairman PTI from 35 feet to about 60 feet.
Sources said that former Prime Minister Imran Khan made two more appeals to the judge during hearing to allow him to get homemade food and provide some space and equipment for exercise in the jail.
During the hearing, the judge while talking to Imran Khan said that the responsibility of providing food in the jail is the responsibility of the jail authorities.
The judge also ordered the Superintendent Jail to provide him bicycles under the manual for exercise.
