Lucknow: Babar Azam, the captain of the Pakistan cricket team, has continued to dominate the One Day International (ODI) rankings released by the International Cricket Council (ICC).
The latest ICC ODI rankings have Babar Azam at the number one position, while Indian player Shubman Gill follows closely in second place.
According to the ICC, Babar Azam has secured 836 ranking points, while Shubman Gill has accumulated 818 points.
In the rankings, South African player Quinton de Kock has risen to the third position, while another South African, van der Dussen, holds the fourth position.
The fifth position is occupied by Irish player Harry Tector, followed by Indian captain Rohit Sharma in the sixth position.
Australian opener David Warner is ranked seventh, English batsman Dawid Malan holds the eighth position, and Indian player Virat Kohli is in ninth place.
For Pakistan, Imam-ul-Haq holds the 10th position, while Fakhar Zaman is ranked 13th.
