Lahore: Husnain Ahmed has been reinstated as the Director-General of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
The appointment was officially approved by the President of the State following a recommendation from the Election Commission.
The Ministry of Law and Justice has subsequently issued a formal notification regarding this reappointment.
Husnain Ahmed's return to the helm of NAB comes in the form of a six-month contract that commenced on October 13.
Interestingly, it was in the same month that Husnain Ahmed had previously retired from his position at NAB.
