It was pleaded by the RPO that some more time is required for the recovery of former minister.


Rawalpindi: The hearing of the case related to the recovery of Awami Muslim League (AML) chief and former federal minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has been adjourned till October 26.
According to details, Lahore High Court (LHC) Rawalpindi Bench Justice Sadaqat Ali Khan heard the Sheikh Rashid Ahmed missing case.
During the hearing, the Regional Police Officer (RPO) Rawalpindi appeared in the court and told that the Central Police Office (CPO), Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operation and other police officers were not involved in the arrest of Sheikh Rashid.
It was pleaded in the court by the RPO that they are trying to recover the former federal minister however some more time required for the recovery.
Later, the court accepted the plea of the police to give more time and postponed the hearing of the case till October 26 and ordered the recovery of Sheikh Rashid Ahmed till then.
