"Saddened to learn of Farooq Qaiser's death. He was not just a performer but would constantly raise awareness about social injustices and issues," Imran Khan wrote, offering his condolences to the bereaved family. 

Others chose to herald Qaiser's genius, saluting his craft. 

Qaiser passed away on Friday after struggling with heart disease since a while.
