Islamabad: Pakistan has recorded a gradual decline in COVID-related new infections and positivity rate.

Pakistan is presently experiencing the third wave of coronavirus which is said to be deadlier and more contagious than previous two waves.
According to National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), around 1,531 cases of coronavirus were reported while 83 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 19,467.
The total number of cases has reached 873,220.
As many as 780,438 patients have recovered from the disease with no critical cases.
Punjab
The number of patients swelled to 324,106 in the province with 9,282 causalities.
Sindh
The number of infections has surged to 296,364 in the province, while the death toll has reached 4,780.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
The confirmed cases have surged to 126,403 in the province with 3,723 casualties.
Balochistan
There are 23,778 confirmed cases while 257 patients have died from the infection so far.
AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan
There are 18,186 coronavirus cases in the AJK while the death toll has reached 511. On the other hand, there are 5,414 cases in GB with 107 coronavirus deaths.
Islamabad
There are 78,382 cases in the capital city while 716 people have lost their lives.
