Gujranwala: Following an unfortunate incident, eleven people of same family were killed when a van skidded off the road and plunged into a canal in Khanqah Dogran district of Gujranwala last night.

As per details, the van fell into the canal at Bhotanpura and all eleven victims including three women and 7 children who drowned belonged to the same family.
The victims of the tragic accident included, a man, his wife, 4 children, mother, sister and 3 nephews.
The deceased have been identified as Chand Afzal (42) his wife Sadia Afzal, son Harira Afzal (13), Saad Afzal (11), Hassan (9), and Hussain Afzal Chand (6), Munawar Bibi (70), Madiha Imran (35) and Subhan Imran (12)
Rescue teams and police reached the spot after getting information and recovered the bodies from the canal.
The dead bodies then shifted to nearby hospital.
