PIA fuel shortage, 45 flights canceled today
27 domestic and international flights of PIA remained canceled on Monday as well.
Islamabad: The most important fuel issue related to the national airline's financial crisis has not been resolved, due to which very few planes are getting fuel based on the quota system.
According to details, 45 domestic and foreign flights of Pakistan International Airline (PIA) have been canceled for Tuesday, October 24.
According to the flight schedule, four flights PK300, PK301, PK368 and PK369 from Karachi to Islamabad, PK501 and PK502 from Karachi to Turbat, Lahore flights PK302, PK303, PK306 have been cancelled.
The cancelled flights also include Karachi to Sukkur PK536 and PK 537, Karachi Quetta PK 310 and PK 311 and PK 242 from Dammam to Karachi and Lahore to Quetta PK 322 and PK 323.
Flights PK 233, PK 211 from Islamabad to Dubai, PK 261, PK 262 to Abu Dhabi, PK 601, PK 602, PK 605 and 606 to Gilgit, PK 325 and PK 326 to Quetta, PK 451 and PK 452 for Skardu, PK 605 and PK 606 for Gilgit, PK 631 and PK 632 for Sukkur have been cancelled. PK 288 from Doha to Islamabad has also been cancelled.
PK 765 and PK 766 from Multan to Riyadh, PK 221 to Dubai and PK 294 Sharjah to Multan have been cancelled.
PK 209 and PK 210 from Sialkot to Sharjah have been cancelled.
PK727 and PK728 from Peshawar to Riyadh, PK257 and PK258 from Sharjah to Dubai and PK217, PK218 from Abu Dhabi to Peshawar have been cancelled.
27 domestic and international flights of PIA remained canceled on Monday as well.
