Islamabad: The spokesperson of Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) Thursday said that there is no possibility of postponing general elections in Pakistan as all the preparations for holding elections have been completed with a swing.
According to details, the spokesperson of ECP told that the schedules of general polls will be announced after the publication of constituencies. Notably, the first phase of constituencies has been completed.
The spokesman added that the second phase of filing objections on delimitation will be completed tomorrow (Friday) and the Election Commission will hear the objections from October 30 and 31.
Final list of constituencies will be published on November 30 and the election schedule will be announced after the final publication of the constituencies, he stated.
The spokesman further said that there is no ambiguity in the decisions of the Election Commission.
