The Election Commission also issued a written decision to allot the 'Eagle' electoral symbol to the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party.

Lahore: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) Thursday allotted the electoral symbol of ‘Eagle’ to Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP).
The IPP had requested the Election Commission to allot the symbol of Eagle, to which the ECP had reserved its decision.
Election Commission gave a protective verdict and approved the application of IPP allotting the electoral symbol of ‘Eagle’.
After the election symbol was allotted, the registration process of IPP in the Election Commission was also completed. Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party will now officially be able to participate in all kinds of elections in Pakistan.
Written decision
The Election Commission also issued a written decision to allot the 'Eagle' electoral symbol to the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party.
A three-page written decision was issued by the ECP which stated that IPP had demanded three election symbols: the bat, the sparrow and the eagle.
The text of the verdict read that the matter of the bat symbol is in the court and another political party hold the symbol of sparrow, therefore the Election Commission allotted the ‘Eagle’ election symbol to the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party.
