Islamabad: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar on Friday said the government firmly believed in freedom of expression.
Talking to Minister for Information and Broadcasting Murtaza Solangi in Islamabad today, he said the media is an important pillar of the state.
He directed the legitimate demands of the media should be resolved.
The Prime Minister said the process of meetings with media organizations will continue, assuring necessary steps will be taken to solve the problems faced by them.

Federal Secretary Information Zahoor Ahmed, Principal Information Officer Tariq Mehmood Khan and Managing Director APP Muhammad Asim Khichi were also present in the meeting.
