Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) Chief Justice Aamer Farooq on Saturday is set to hear a long-pending contempt petition against former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on November 15.
According to the plea, the supremo of the Pakistan Muslim League-N (PMLN) had made disparaging comments about the judges.
Adnan Iqbal, a resident of the area, first submitted the case in 2018, accusing Nawaz Sharif of making anti-judiciary remarks.
Adnan Iqbal sought contempt of court action against Nawaz Sharif for his statements made in 2018.
