Elon Musk's adopts new user revenue strategy for X
The change was announced by Elon Musk.

California: Elon Musk's social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, has made a significant alteration to its user revenue generation policy.
The change, which was revealed by Musk in an X-post, states that posts marked with a community notice will not be eligible for income generation.
Musk emphasized that this transformation is aimed at prioritizing truth over sensationalism and that not every post featuring Community Notices will yield revenue.
This announcement coincides with growing allegations that X is disseminating misleading content, a concern acknowledged by its owner, Elon Musk, who has admitted that fake news and deceptive videos are present on the platform.
Community Notices, introduced in 2021 under the name Birdwatch and later rebranded after Musk's acquisition of X, serves as a feature that assesses user-generated content for appropriateness.
X users have the opportunity to earn money through programs such as ad revenue sharing and premium video sharing, provided they meet specific criteria, including holding an X-Premium subscription, accumulating 5 million post impressions within the last three months, and having a minimum of 500 followers.
