Malayalam actress Renjusha Menon found dead at her apartment

Kerala: In a tragic incident, Malayalam actress Renjusha Menon was discovered lifeless in her Thiruvananthapuram apartment on Monday morning.

The 35-year-old actress, known for her roles in both television and film, was found hanging in her flat, which she shared with her husband, Manoj, also an actor. The reports suggested that financial difficulties may have been a factor in her untimely demise.

While the initial assessment points to suicide, authorities are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding her death. The body will be subjected to an autopsy at a later time.

Renjusha Menon, originally from Kochi, embarked on her career as a TV show anchor before making her mark in television serials. She made her small screen debut with the serial 'Sthree' and continued to work on various projects.

Her supporting roles in television shows and films, such as 'City of God,' 'Marykkundoru Kunjaadu,' 'Bombay March,' 'Karyasthan,' 'One Way Ticket,' 'Athbhutha Dweepu,' and others, earned her widespread recognition and popularity.

In addition to her acting career, Renjusha also worked as a producer for several serials. She was a proficient Bharatanatyam dancer as well. She is survived by her father, C G Ravindranath, and her mother, Umadevi.

Just hours before her tragic demise, Renjusha Menon shared a lighthearted video on Instagram alongside her 'Anandha Ragam' co-star, Sreedevi Anil.

The news of her passing has left her fans in shock and grief, with many expressing their condolences on her Instagram page. One user aptly stated, ''Just a fraction of a second is enough to change destiny... Rest in Peace, Sister.''

This sad event follows the recent loss of another Malayalam actor, Aparna Nair, who also took her own life. Aparna, aged 33, appeared in a number of movies and serials and was found hanging in her residence last month. She was residing with her husband and their children at the time of her passing.
