Shaheen Afridi fastest Pakistani bowler to take 100 wickets

Pakistan crickety team fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi scored a major record in his name.

According to details, fast bowler Shaheen Afridi entered the list of fastest bowlers to take 100 wickets in One Day International (ODI).

The Pakistani bowler completed 100 ODI wickets in 51 matches while Mitchell Starc completed 100 wickets in 52 matches.

Shaheen Afridi achieved the feat in the ongoing World Cup 2023 match against Bangladesh in which he dismissed Bangladeshi opener Tanzid Hasan for a wicket in his first over.

Saqlain Mushtaq crossed this milestone in 53 ODI matches. Nepal's Sandeep Lamichane in 42 and Afghanistan's Rashid in 44 matches. Overall Shaheen is the third fastest bowler to take 100 wickets.
