The ICAO delegation will assess a number of important aviation infrastructure during their tour.


Karachi: A team of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) will arrive in Pakistan next month to conduct a safety audit of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
Amid the resumption of Pakistani airlines in Europe, a seven-member team of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) is will arrive in the country on Nov 05 to conduct a safety and maintenance audit of flights operated by Pakistan’s Civil Aviation Authority (CAA)
The ICAO's Regional Director, Manjeet Singh, will serve as the team leader for the audit, which will cover a number of important facets of aviation, such as air traffic control procedures, flight safety precautions, and license requirements.
The ICAO delegation will assess a number of important aviation infrastructure during their tour, including the CAA Headquarters in Karachi and the airports in Lahore and Karachi.
In addition, the ICAO team will assess Pakistani aviation's regulatory setup and processes, which is a critical step in preserving the security and safety of flights using European airspace.
