As per the Ministry of Finance's official statement, a 45% increment has been approved for the salaries and benefits of employees in MP scales 1, 2, and 3.


Islamabad: The caretaker government has implemented significant salary and perks increases for bureaucrats in management positions (MPs).
According to an official announcement from the Ministry of Finance, salary and allowance increments of 45% have been approved for MP scales 1, 2, and 3, effective from October 1.
Before this increase, the minimum salary for MP scale 1 was Rs554,600, while the maximum was Rs699,250.
With the new adjustment, the minimum salary has risen to Rs841,800, and the maximum salary is now Rs1,130,920.
Additionally, the announcement specifies that the transport monetization allowance for the MP1 scale will be Rs 95,910.
For MP scale 2, the minimum salary used to be Rs255,750, with a maximum of Rs413,600.
With the recent adjustments, the minimum salary has been increased, but the exact figure is not mentioned.
Similarly, for the MP3 scale, the minimum salary was Rs165,855, and the maximum salary was Rs233,750.
Following the increase, the minimum salary is now Rs240,460, and the maximum is Rs338,960.
The monetization allowance for scale 3 is set at Rs65,060.
