Five people killed, 20 injured in DI Khan blast
Police added that the explosive material was planted in a motorcycle at the busiest area of the city.
DI Khan: Five people have been killed, while 20 sustained the injuries as a result of a blast in Tank Adda Ponda Bazaar in Dera Ismail Khan.
According to Dera Ismail Khan Police, after the explosion, gunshots were also heard at the scene.
Police added that the explosive material was planted in a motorcycle at the busiest area of the city.
Police and rescue teams are engaged in rescue operations at the site of the explosion. It has been reported that the explosion damaged the nearby houses, shops and motorcycles that were parked nearby.
Police cordoned off the area, while the victims and injured have been shifted to the nearby hospital where the injured are being provided with medical assistance.
