Islamabad: All markets and shops will remain open till 8 pm from Monday (today) across Pakistan.

The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Saturday reviewed the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) during Eid-ul-Fitr holidays and expressed satisfaction on compliance.
According to NCOC, all offices will also resume normal working hours from with 50 percent staff.
The NCOC will meet again on Wednesday to review the implementation of the Covid-19 related SOPs.
The decision came after a special meeting, chaired by Federal Minister for Planning Asad Umar, decided to allow markets and shops to remain open till 8pm from May 17 onwards.
However, ban on tourism will continue till further notice.
The forum also decided that all inter-provincial, intra-city and inter-city public transport can resume from May 16 instead of the earlier decided May 17.
The NCOC also urged the public to ensure prior registration on 1166 prior to walking in for vaccination.
