Lahore: With the rising value of US dollar again, the prices of construction materials also increased further.
According to details, the price of iron ore in the international market has increased by 50 dollars per ton, which has swelled the price of iron ore in Pakistan by Rs30,000 per ton.
After this increase, the price of steel per ton has also gone up to settle at Rs2,70,000.
This year, the construction sector has reached the brink of collapse as the prices of gravel and cement are also skyrocketing.
It is pertinent to mention that the price of steel per ton declined by 50,000 rupees due to the depreciation of the dollar last month, but the prices have increased again.
