Chairman PCB Management Committee Zaka Ashraf has also started consultations with technocrats in this regard.
Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has taken a principled decision to remove the foreign coaching staff.
According to details, PCB has decided to terminate the foreign coaching staff due to the poor performance of Pakistan team in the International Cricket Council (ICC) World Cup 2023. After which online coaching team director Mickey Arthur will also be dismissed.
Chairman PCB Management Committee Zaka Ashraf has also started consultations with technocrats in this regard.
The Pakistan Cricket Board has called the big names for a meeting for the future plan and former national team captain Younis Khan, while other former cricketers will meet Zaka Ashraf.
It is pertinent to note that that Pakistan bowling coach Morne Morkel resigned from his post on Monday due to the team's poor performance in the ICC World Cup 2023.
Under Morkel's coaching, Pakistan's fast bowling failed miserably in the World Cup while the PCB will soon announce Morkel's replacement.
