PCB Management Committee Zaka Ashraf met former cricketers to make crucial decisions following Pakistan's abysmal performance in the ICC World Cup 2023.

The Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Management Committee Zaka Ashraf met former cricketers to make crucial decisions following Pakistan's abysmal performance in the ICC World Cup 2023.
Zaka Ashraf met with Sohail Tanvir, Wahab Riaz, Mohammad Hafeez, and Younis Khan to get their feedback on the team's performance in the major tournament.
Additionally, Misbah-ul-Haq, the chairman of the PCB Technical Committee, will meet with Zaka Ashraf and provide input.
However, Zaka will also cross paths with Mohsin Khan, Moin Khan, Mushtaq Ahmed, Azhar Ali, Saeed Ajmal, Umar Gul, and Aqib Javed.
In addition to a legal consultation over their contracts, Ashraf will discuss potential changes to the coaching staff.
One of the agenda items for the next meeting is the choices for alternate captains for the red-ball and white-ball formats.
It should be mentioned that Pakistan's next task is to play three Test matches in Australia as part of their tour.
A new selection committee will choose the Pakistan men's cricket team for the Test series against Australia.
The committee for temporary selection, which was constituted following Inzamam-ul-Haq's resignation as chief selector, has been dismissed.
It has also been decided to remove Wajahatullah Wasti and Tauseef Ahmed, who lead the junior and senior selection committees, respectively.
The person choosing the Australian side for the tour has not yet been announced.
