CM Punjab announces assistance to martyred officers’ families equal to police
The injured government employee will also be provided with a relief package equal to the police package.


Lahore: Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi Monday decided to give assistance to the families of martyred officers or employees equal to the police martyrs package.
According to the details, a meeting of the Cabinet Standing Committee on Finance was held under the chairmanship of Mohsin Naqvi, in which it has been decided to give assistance to the family members of the martyred officer or employee equal to the Police Martyr Package.
The chief minister has approved the relief package, while the injured government employee will also be provided with a relief package equal to the police package.
Mohsin Naqvi has directed to form a committee under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary, which will prepare final recommendations and examine the cases.
The Caretaker Chief Minister has ordered an immediate review of the financial aid case and directed to form the aid package equal to the police martyrs package.
Excise Department also approved a package equal to the police package for the martyred inspector Mohammad Rafi and the injured inspector Sanaullah Bhatti.
