Islamabad: The federal government has appointed Dr. Moeed Yusuf as the National Security Advisor.

According to details, after the new appointment the designation of Special Assistant to Prime Minister on National Security Division and Strategic Policy Planning will be equivalent to a federal minister.
The cabinet division has also issued a notification in this regard.
It merits mention that Prime Minister Imran Khan had appointed Dr. Moeed Yusuf as SAPM on national security division and strategic policy planning in December 2019.
