Chakwal: In the ongoing investigation of the students' rape case, administrators of Chakwal Seminary, Naveed Haidery, and deputy administrator Ziaul Haq have been awarded pre-arrest bail, avoiding detention despite numerous police raids.
A local court approved the pre-arrest bail and instructed the Punjab police to present a detailed report by December 3, said the latest reports.
The administrators, currently evading arrest, have filed a bail plea asserting that the police are unlawfully conducting raids to apprehend them.
Recently, a medical report substantiated the rape of five students at a local seminary in Chakwal. The spokesperson also revealed instances of physical abuse, including the use of a sharp object to inscribe initials, "Z or A," on the bodies of five students.
The local seminary in Chakwal was sealed by district police following reports of sexual assault and torture against multiple students. Two seminary teachers, Zeeshan and Anis, were arrested, and a case of "unnatural offences" was registered against them after allegations of sexual assault on several minor students surfaced.
