Alleged illegal marriage case against Imran, Bushra Bibi dismissed

Islamabad: The alleged illegal marriage case filed against Pakistan Tehrek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and wife Bushra Bibi Friday dismissed as the petitioner Muhammad Hanif withdrew the case from District and Sessions Court Islamabad.

According to the details, Civil Judge Qudratullah of District and Session Courts Islamabad heard the case of alleged illegal marriage against former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi.

The petitioner Muhammad Hanif appeared in the court along with his lawyer Fawad Haider and filed an appeal to withdraw the case on technical grounds.

It was stated in the petition that the hearing of the case is scheduled on November 25. ‘I want to withdraw the case on technical grounds’. The court accepted the appeal and dismissed the case.

The petitioner had accused Chairman PTI and Bushra Bibi of marrying during Iddat.
